REGION IV TRAVELING WORKSHOPS
Due to COVID-19-related restrictions, the Region IV Traveling Workshops are currently on hold. The Region hopes to reopen the traveling workshops once travel and group-event restrictions ease. If your institution is interested in joining a waitlist or discussing a future workshop, please contact us at mentoring@ncuraregioniv.com.
The Region IV Professional Development Committee is excited to offer Traveling Workshops to member and non-member institutions. Developed to help provide quality professional development to institutions located in remote and under-served areas of Region IV, the Traveling Workshop Program provides high-quality instruction at an affordable registration fee and low travel costs.

Benefits of Traveling Workshops
Institutional Hosts
Hosting a workshop at your institution includes local scheduling and coordination, assistance with registration, pre-event photocopying, and parking arrangements. The workshop requires a conference room accommodating up to 50 participants at round tables, projector and Internet access, and ample space for the presenters to interact with the audience. Lunch is included, available either nearby or in the presentation room.
The Region IV Traveling Workshop Committee provides the workshop and its presenters, manages registration and promotion, and works closely with the host institution.
Host organizations receive two free workshop registrations or one free conference registration to the Region IV Spring Meeting ($350.00 value) if the Region does not incur a financial loss for any workshop.
